The governing law
Private hospitals in Madhya Pradesh are registered and regulated under the M.P. Upcharyagriha Tatha Rujopchar Sambandhi Sthapanaye (Registrikaran Tatha Anugyapan) Adhiniyam, 1973 and the Rules of 1997, administered through the CMHO as District Registering Authority. The report records the deficiencies above as a breach of the conditions of the hospital's registration under that Act.
Madhya Pradesh has not adopted the central Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2010; the 1973 State Adhiniyam is the applicable law.
